Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte

I’ve been making “bulletproof” coffee for a few years now and I find myself constantly sharing it with people so I figured, why not share it on the blog? Just recently I’ve starting putting Collagen Peptides in my morning coffee and I’m noticed a huge difference in the hydration of my skin and hair and nails, and my joints. There are 2 different ways to make a healthy pumpkin spice latte so I’ll share both ways but my favorite way is to use a good coffee (like this Trader Joe’s one) instead of adding the pumpkin spices to my coffee.

Here’s what you’ll need:

1. Coffee (regular or pumpkin spice flavor)
If you don’t use pumpkin spice coffee, use a pumpkin spice blend
2. Healthy Fat (I use coconut oil about 2 tablespoons worth)
3. Cinnamon
4. Vital Protein Collagen Peptide

Blend all the above in a blender until nice and creamy then ENJOY!

This recipe is Whole30 approved as long as you don’t add any sugar. I drink this coffee every morning and if I want a second cup of coffee I’ll drink it black. I’m trying to cut back to one cup a day and replace it with a herbal tea in the afternoon, as long as I drink all my water for the day. This is a great alternate to a fatty latte everyday (I’m looking at you Starbucks). I tried to drink a caramel latte after our first round of Whole30 and I got SO SICK from it, must have been all the sugar so I’ve given up Starbucks altogether pretty much.
