It brings me much joy to bring back Cousin Style for a few posts for you guys!
If you did not notice, I took a few week hiatus on the blog. I think I was having an identity crisis and didn’t want to share anything that wasn’t me. Well, having my cousin Laura from Breezy and Brazen in town last week reminded me why I loved blogging. Laura and her husband headed to Denver and we had a whole weekend full of activities, almost too much room for activities. We started out on Wednesday with the NEEDTOBREATHE concert and we decided to bring our husbands this time around. Thursday Laura and I had a photo shoot and it was just like the 3 years since we were doing this together hadn’t even passed.
We are so excited to be collaborating with Sparrow Boutique!
Sparrow Boutique was one of the firsts, if maybe the first boutique we got to work with on our blog together at Relatively Offbeat. It’s located in our hometown of Muskegon, MI where cool boutiques weren’t really around growing up. So this collaboration is a special one for us! I remember getting a gift card for my birthday from my mom to their store to shop for clothes for my first big girl job and the quality is so great I still wear all the pieces to this day! They offer a great selection of business, business casual, great jeans, and just everyday wear as well. So for my first outfit I chose a burgundy color lace up shirt and I’m pretty sure you’ll see me living in it this winter. Laura decided to go suede on suede (yes, she is usually way cooler than I am).
Jenna from Jenna Sparks Photography suggested we meet at Hudson Hills and it was the cutest coffee shop near downtown denver. I am constantly surprised by the amount of great coffee shops in Denver that I stumble upon. I’ll be sharing two more outfits from Sparrow with you guys so stay tuned! I’m so excited to try out a new hike in Rocky Mountain National Park today so if you want to follow along check out my Instagram (@thesuitcaseblonde).
