I’m not afraid to say it-turtlenecks are back.
I’m really diggin the oversized turtleneck sweaters lately. There are so many ways to wear them and I’m always cold. The warmer the sweater the better. I’m really trying to mix up my wardrobe with some fun pieces and more color because the amount of black and grey I have is sad sometimes. So this whole outfit was secondhand-surprised?? 😉
I never go thrifting with the idea that I’ll find a specific piece of clothing.
You would get totally stressed out if you’re trying to find a particular thing at the thrift store and search the whole store high and low and find nothing. I’ve learned to casually browse the aisles and feel the fabrics more than look at each piece individually. You’ll be able to tell when something is cheap or well made. Then I’ll stop, take a little looksie-poo, and if it might be cute I’ll take it to try on! I don’t think it’d be so bad to go with the mindset that you’re looking for a coat or sweater, etc. just not a white coat from zara that’s long with a hood, chances are it doesn’t exist in that store.
