Working Class

Hello Hello!

Happy Monday everyone! It was only just recently that my “weekend” actually meant Saturday and Sunday. I held a number of different jobs in the past four years, but I definitely have to say I love being in Sales! I am sure once ski season rolls around I’ll be pretty disappointed that I will have to wait in the long lines like the rest of the normal Monday-Friday skiers on the weekend. Adulthood-Am I right?

Another fun part of moving into a more career role is you get to pick out your outfit every morning, whether you like it or not! I feel like when I’m wearing an outfit I really love, I am more confident and am better at my job. I found this LOVELY blue paisley dress (H&M) from Goodwill for a few bucks, and I don’t usually get shoes but I found these Ann Taylor nude pumps and couldn’t resist! Throw a blazer over it and you’re ready to go to work and out for drinks after.

When I thrift shop I can usually find dresses that are great, and it’s a whole outfit so it’s even more frugal! Start by going through your size section and if it doesn’t immediately catch your eye keep on moving. Just because it’s cheap doesn’t mean you want to purchase it-make sure you will wear it. If you missed it in my other thrifted coffee shop look, Goodwill has awesome deals on Saturday so wait to go on the weekend!

The next few weeks at work will be full blown CRAZY. I just have to get through 2 weeks then I’m home free (literally) to Michigan for a week and for my brother’s wedding! I am so excited to be home with everyone I love so much where I grew up. I will most definitely be living in swim suits for the majority of the trip and that is A-OKAY with me. Also-it’s my birthday on Sunday! I can’t wait to see what 27 will feel like. 🙂

Have a great week everyone!
